- my.pitt.edu: The portal for almost all Pitt access points, including your Pitt email, software, websites, and more!
- find.pitt.edu: Need to find a fellow colleague's email or phone number? Locate them on Find People.
- accounts.pitt.edu: Set your preferred/chosen name, gender pronouns, create an email alias, and more.
- Pitt Worx: Pitt Worx is the University's human resources and payroll system. It is where you will submit time cards, access your time off balances, enroll in benefits coverage, and find important information related to your employment.
- Panther Card (Panther Central): Your Panther Card (Pitt ID) is the tool that every employee needs to access essential campus services, such as gaining access to certain buildings or utilizing the Pittsburgh Regional Transit bus system. Panther Card services are completed by Panther Central, located in the Litchfield Towers lobby.
- Employment Verification - Form I-9: New employees and rehires to the University must complete a Form I-9, the Employee Eligibility Verification Form required by the federal government.
- Child Protection Clearances: Child Protection Clearances are required for new and current employees and appointees, as well as certain volunteers, who will have direct and/or routine contact with children under 18 years of age, provided these children are not subject to an exception.
- COVID-19 Vaccine Requirement: Effective December 6, 2021, the University of Pittsburgh requires all Pitt affiliates on all campuses to be vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved exemption.
- Required Online Trainings: At Pitt, you are encouraged to complete computer-based interactive training programs. There are trainings that must be completed or may be assigned to you within your provisional period (your first six months).
- Office of the Registrar Systems Access and Training: The Office of the University Registrar maintains primary support responsibilities for a number of University systems and business processes. Check out their website to get started with your access and training.
- Pitt Worx System Access: Employees that require access to the Pitt Worx system beyond the regular access provided to employees will need to request access.
- Pitt Worx Training: Check out the Pitt Worx Hub to find a variety of reference guides and resources for using Pitt Worx.
- Purchase, Pay, and Travel Systems Access: Does your position require you to make purchases, oversee payments and travel expenses? Head to the CFO's website to set up your systems access (for PantherExpress, OneCard, and Concur) and start training.
- Talent Center System Access: Are you a manager, supervisor, or department administrator? Talent Center is your starting point for all things recruiting, hiring, and onboarding. You will need to make a request to get access to Talent Center
- Talent Center Training: Check out the Talent Center section of the Pitt Worx Hub for reference guides and resources for using Talent Center.
- Faculty and Staff Development Program (FSDP): FSDP offers a variety of workshops to enhance the professional and personal development of Pitt faculty and staff. Workshops are offered in the fall and spring terms of each academic year and all University faculty and staff are invited to participate. For staff, workshop registration requires supervisor approval.
- Education Benefits: Pitt offers education benefits to faculty, librarians, research associates, post-doctoral associates, post-doctoral scholars, staff, their spouses, domestic partners, and dependent children. This benefit is available at the Pittsburgh campus and all regional campuses.
- LinkedIn Learning: LinkedIn Learning at Pitt provides unlimited access to thousands of online educational videos. Learn how to use tools for print and web design, audio and video editing, and animation. Enhance business skills, learn computer coding, or explore photography. It's all at your fingertips.
- Pitt IT Trainings: Pitt Information Technology has a robust array of centralized security measures and controls to protect the University’s network infrastructure and data. Pitt IT is now offering a portfolio of security awareness resources to students, faculty, and staff to help introduce you to information security best practices and keep your cyber skills sharp. These online training courses are available from the highly regarded KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training library.
- IT Resources for Pitt Staff: From accessing your email to software available to staff, find helpful technology resources from Pitt IT.
- Multifactor Authentication (Duo): Multifactor authentication adds another layer of security to your online accounts when using Pitt Passport by requiring two “factors” to verify your identity when you log in to a service.
- 24/7 IT Help Desk: Contact the Pitt IT Help Desk for your questions regarding anything tech.
